Front Page First Draft

First of all I was very happy with this photo as it's very clear and it taught a story very well. As you can see the shadow on one side of his face, I purposely did this to show his dark past but how the future is bright for him, this is related to the article written on him.
I had two main style models here and it was 'RnB' and 'NME', the image and minimal text was based on the NME front cover and the positioning of 'Juicy R' with text below was based on RnB.
I also went with industry standards and used the codes and conventions of a bar code, mobile code, price, bold title, a striking image and titles of related articles.
